The Training Associates (TTA) Expands Marketing Department

Continued High Growth Expected for Trainer Provider

 

Westborough, MA, June 20, 2007 ¾ THE TRAINING ASSOCIATES (TTA) announces three new key associates to its Marketing Department. TTA, the dominant leader in Trainer Outsourcing, is augmenting its Marketing Department due to extensive expansion plans and to increase awareness of the TTA Brand.

 

A Marketing Director, Advertising Manager and Public Relations Manager have been added to intensify marketing presence in print, online and industry conferences.  According to Lynne Wagner, Advertising Manager, “Due to confidentiality agreements held with our client partners, name recognition and branding is challenging.  If you’ve been in an IT or Professional Business Skills class in the past 13 years, you probably didn’t realize you were taught by a TTA Trainer.”

 

“We’re very excited to bring aboard these highly qualified marketing professionals,” said Maria Melfa, President.   “We have grown 40% annually since 1994 and we’ll surpass that number this year.  The proven success and experience these individuals possess will help solidify TTA’s position as the largest trainer provider.”

 

 

Jeanne Picardi joins TTA as Marketing Director to spearhead this new initiative.  Previously, Picardi held key positions as Senior Training Consultant for Achieve/Global Learning International, a leading training and consulting organization, Director of Strategic Marketing, International Data Corp (IDC), a global market intelligence corporation.  Jeanne has a B.A. degree from St. Lawrence University, Canton, NY.

Lynne Wagner heads TTA’s Advertising Department. Wagner was VP of Marketing for Norseman Group Northeast and VP of Sales & Marketing for Cleaner By Nature.  She has a B.S. degree in Business Management from Lesley University, Cambridge, MA.

 

James Dorsey joins TTA Marketing as Public Relations Manager.  Dorsey held senior positions in marketing & training at TTA, last teaching Change Management for a Fortune 500 Company.  He previously held executive positions at Thorn EMI Computer Software, IBM and Adjunct Professorships at various colleges.  Dorsey received a B.S. Degree in Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, NY and an MBA in Management from Bryant College, Smithfield, RI.
