Creative Content Marketing Specialist
Amber LaBonte is the Creative Content Marketing Specialist who works in the Marketing department to create content such as blogs, podcast episodes, and social media for a wide variety of platforms.
Amber believes that when it comes to marketing, what you say is just as important as how you say it. The content produced must be both engaging and relevant to the target audience. If it’s not like glue, then it just won’t stick.
Amber has previously re-designed a website within the engineering industry resulting in improved user experience and new prospect growth and produced her own original three-part podcast series as part of her university coursework.
Amber holds a B.A. in English with concentrations in both Writing and Mass Communications from Assumption University.

What was your first job?
My first job was with the Diocese of Worcester as a part-time television producer. I think this is really what sparked my interest in communications overall.
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
I’d probably be a stand-up comic. I love to laugh and make others laugh too. However, seeing it’s difficult to break into comedy these days, I think I’ll stick with bringing my sense of humor and creativity to marketing.
What would you sing at Karaoke night?
I’d have to go with Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen! It’s classic. Will I act out that one scene from Wayne’s World while singing? You bet I will!
What is your favorite thing about your career?
I get to do something I love every day and it’s never the same from day to day! Marketing trends are always changing, so it keeps things new and exciting for me.
If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?
I would want to have teleportation powers. I have quite the love-hate relationship with driving (traffic is the bane of my existence). I’d love to have the ability to travel wherever I want at any time within the blink of an eye.
