What was your first job?
Dietary Aid at a nursing home when I was 14. Officially, my job was to bring cold drinks and snacks to the residents during the summer months. Unofficially, I was a friendly face that got to chat with the residents who wanted/needed a someone to visit with for 15 minutes or so each day.
If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?
The ability to ‘fix’ anything… be it an inanimate object that is broken, a living thing that needs healing or something intangible – like a broken spirit or heart – that needs mending.
If you had a warning label, what would yours say?
“Package contents are larger than they appear.” People who know me well will understand this warning!
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
If L&D were completely off the table, I would love to own a vineyard.
If you had to describe yourself as an animal, which one would it be?
Dragon – Getting here is a long story. The short version is, according to Nordic mythology, I was born under the sign of the sea dragon.
