Get to Know Glen!

What was your first job?

Before I was of legal working age, I was building custom computers and selling them to friends and neighbors. As soon as I turned 16, I began work as an on-call Computer Technician. Not long after my first job I decided to pursue a more stable income and started working at Circuit City as a Technical Solutions Advisor. I loved keeping up with the latest tech trends and really kick started my growing interest in IT.

What motivates you to work hard?

Working in IT, no day is alike, there is always something new that comes up (although frustrating at times), I really do love solving problems and fixing issues, it offers a great sense of accomplishment at the end of the day.

What is your favorite thing about your career?

There is never a dull moment, it’s an ever-changing field with new and exciting hardware and software innovations occurring every single day, I always try to stay on top of what’s going on in the “tech world” and dig deeper into upcoming products.

What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?

Besides IT, I definitely have a love of diverse food, especially spicy foods. I would open a food truck, park it near a tropical beach somewhere, and try new foods all day.

What celebrity would you like to meet at Starbucks/Dunkin Donuts for a cup of coffee?

Bobby Flay, I need some good recipe advice for my food truck.
