Vice President of Finance
James “Jim” A. Moore is the Vice President of Finance at TTA (The Training Associates), where he is responsible for all financial programs and initiatives. Jim Moore is an ardent believer that managing finances strategically is key to ensuring that the organization is on a healthy path to success. To achieve this, Jim partners with leaders of other functional areas of TTA to drive the growth and evolution of the organization.
With more than twenty-five years of experience as a creative financial leader for major corporations, Jim brings a strong background in corporate finance.
Prior to TTA, Jim Moore was Controller and Operations Manager for Cue Data Services in Norwell, MA, where he assisted with their expansion into international markets. To facilitate this transition, Jim devised and implemented new revenue streams and cost-saving initiatives that led to greater efficiencies.
Jim graduated from Trinity College Dublin, in Ireland with a degree in Accounting and Finance. He has also taken graduate courses at the University of Massachusetts in Boston.

Get to Know Jim!
What was your first job?
I was a “tea boy” on a construction site when I was twelve. This was in Ireland, so I ran errands for the construction workers. Then I became an apprentice goldsmith. That is what led me to my current profession in finance.
If you had a warning label, what would yours say?
The carpenter term “Measure Twice, Cut Once” is my motto, so I would carry that if I had to have a label.
What would you sing at Karaoke night?
“This Is The Sea” by the Waterboys, followed by “Wish You Were Here” by Pink Floyd.
If you had to describe yourself as an animal, which one would it be?
I’d be a dog – loyal and playful.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
My kids, and the two families – my own and the “outlaws” – and they know who they are.
