Corporate Placement Manager
Kim Schofield is a Corporate Placement Manager who works with contract trainers, instructional designers and learning strategists to secure fulfilling roles in all aspects of Learning and Development. Kim believes effective, continuous learning and development within organizations (large and small) leads to employee retention, job satisfaction and overall greater sense of purpose within employee’s individual roles.
Kim has worked at various types of roles throughout her career – all with a strong emphasis on recruiting and sales. Some of her more interesting experiences include co-owning an on-demand childcare service that served over 400 families in MA as well as major Boston hotels such as The Four Seasons and Park Plaza. Kim also opened her own clothing boutique in Northborough, MA. Kim holds a B.S. in Accounting from Babson College.

What was your first job?
Paper girl – I had a paper route when I was 10. I would ride my bike around the neighborhood to deliver the weekly town paper.
If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?
I would love to fly.
What would you sing at Karaoke night?
I have a list of 80’s songs that I would have way too much fun singing.
What is your favorite thing about your career?
The diversity – no two calls are the same, no two people are the same, no two situations are the same – I am always challenged to be on my game.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
My three boys – they are all still a work in progress; but they are what make me the most proud every day.
