As President and CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of TTA (The Training Associates), Ms. Melfa leads the company’s global business and drives the growth strategies.
As TTA’s co-founder, and current leader, Ms. Melfa has been focused on ensuring that the organization lives up to standards of excellence that deliver transformational results for our clients. And key to that is building an internal culture of innovation and engagement that she has fostered.
As TTA’s President and CEO, Maria is also passionate about the company culture and employee engagement, believing that happy employees will deliver exceptional service to our clients. Maria is also passionate about driving innovation and change, which has greatly contributed to TTA’s success.
Maria truly cares about the well-being of TTA employees, and the world we live in. Maria’s dedication to philanthropy has been widely recognized. Most recently, as the leader of TTA, Maria received the Captain Thomas J. Hudner award from Fisher House Boston. This award is given to an organization for its ongoing commitment and dedicated service to others.
Maria Melfa holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and an M.B.A. certificate from the American Management Association.

What is your favorite thing about your career?
I love being in an industry that drives positive transformation. Every day we get asked to develop content or provide training in a new area, and every day we get new energy and inspiration. I love working on so many interesting and exciting international projects.
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
Professional dancer – such amazing strength and grace.
