TTA and Akamai Technologies win a 2020 Brandon Hall Group Silver Award for Excellence in Learning

Marlborough, MA – August 27, 2020 – TTA is excited to announce that we have won the 2020 Brandon Hall Group Silver Award for Excellence in Learning in partnership with Akamai.

TTA partnered with Akamai Technologies to create a program that provides opportunities for people to pursue a technical career without coming from a traditional technical background. Akamai partnered with TTA to deliver these classes globally. This transformational program provides participants foundational technical training, soft skills, and organizational business knowledge to prepare them for early career roles at Akamai. Additionally, TTA helped Akamai evolve the program from solely in-person ILT classes to a hybrid model of in-person and VILT classes in an effort to geographically scale the program.

“We are delighted to be a recipient of the Brandon Hall Group Silver Award and honored to have won this award in partnership with Akamai Technologies. We are thankful to have partnered with Akamai Technologies on this impactful initiative which helped increase diversity within their workforce and find strong talent from non-traditional technical environments.”  said Maria Melfa, TTA’s President and CEO.
