Volvo was tasked with implementing a new CRM system across the company’s 600+ dealerships throughout the United States and Canada. The software implementation was critical in developing the future architectural systems framework, as well as ensuring data consistency across the vast franchise locations. To accomplish this large-scale training initiative, the company needed to increase its training capacity – to train over 900 sales professionals, in nine months, across various locations throughout North America and Canada. For the project to be successful, the sales teams needed to use the CRM system to conduct daily business transactions — making effective training critical for user utilization. Furthermore, Volvo needed to drive product adoption across the different privately owned dealerships. The private dealers varied in business model and size – ranging from a two-person dealership to ‘Mega’ dealers consisting of multiple stores that span across many states. With limited internal training resources and a tight timeline, the company needed to outsource to a solution provider to deliver training talent and solutions for this large-scale training project, and drive technology adoption across the varying franchises. Looking to scale and to reduce the time-to-training for this training initiative, Volvo selected TTA based on the vast network of highly qualified training professionals, large scale training expertise, and overall ease of working with TTA.
