IBM’s Digital Workplace Service Team developed a proprietary mobile application for the Zebra TC72 handheld computer. Approximately 2,000 of these devices were being distributed to approximately 6,000 of IBM’s end client who had employees across 256 sites across the United States. IBM engaged TTA to help them quickly train their energy supplier client on the newly developed mobile application and related device. Their goal was to drive user adoption through an understanding of the application’s value and also increase productivity through confident, error-free utilization of the new application and device. TTA developed the necessary microlearning modules, instructor-led course materials, and job aids and provided expert facilitators to enable users on the new application. TTA was able to quickly and efficiently get the learners up to speed on the new application and achieved a 98.9% on IBM’s Supplier Performance Evaluation based on this initiative.
