Since 1980, Cardinal Health, made over 60 acquisitions and allowed each to operate independently, with the exception of specific expected returns on revenues and profits. In order to compete in the global marketplace, the new CEO of Cardinal Health decided to strategically transition to a one operation company. This change required unifying many individual companies, each with its own people, culture, and diverse policies, into one. To be successful, the company would rely heavily on the effectiveness of its 4,000 frontline managers and supervisors to set managerial standards across the corporation. Cardinal Health needed a partner that could help them train 4,000 geographically dispersed managers in a very short time frame, so they decided to partner with TTA. TTA worked with Cardinal Health to redesign their current curriculum and also supplied 17 expert trainers to train managers throughout North America within the specified timeframe.
