Harleysville a leading regional provider of insurance products and services for small and mid-sized businesses, as well as for individuals. Harleysville ranks among the top 70 property/casualty insurance companies in the United States and is known for creating strong, lasting relationships with customers. The insurance company utilizes independent agents to represent and sell its commercial lines of business. When the organization upgraded to a completely new commercial lines system, it provided a logistical challenge of how to effectively and efficiently train thousands of representatives in more than 1,400 agencies spanning 32 states. Looking for a partner to help them train thousands of representatives on the new commercial lines system, Harleysville partnered with TTA. Harleysville needed trainers that could be flexible and able to handle unexpected glitches in delivering training on a system that was not yet in its final configuration. The trainers needed to be able to quickly adapt and train on variations to the system configuration based on the requirements of each state. Keeping these requirements in mind, TTA was able to quickly identify, qualify, and deploy six expert trainers each of which had experience training independent insurance agency personnel.
