Lam Research is a leading supplier of water fabrication equipment and services to the semiconductor industry. The organization is headquartered in Fremont, California, and has locations around the world, including manufacturing facilities in the U.S., Austria, and South Korea. Lam Research decided to search for a partner who could outsource some of their key training initiatives in order to free up time from training for the executive team. One of Lam Research’s largest training delivery programs was their New Hire Orientation, which is a five-hour program held bi-weekly in Fremont, California. The purpose of this program was to onboard and quickly acclimate the newly hired employees to the policies and culture of the organization. They also conducted a transition-to-role program for new managers. This program was typically held in multiple locations, several times a year. Lam Research partnered with TTA to quickly develop a solution that was both cost-effective and scalable for Lam Research’s unique program needs.
