Wachovia, a 120-year-old financial services holding company, was acquired by Wells Fargo. This strategic purchase positioned Wells Fargo as the second-largest financial brokerage firm in the industry, with more than $1.1 trillion in client assets, nearly 15,000 financial advisors, and over 3,300 branch locations. Wells Fargo had the dual challenge of converting system data from Wachovia’s platform to their financial platform as well as the need to create successful training events surrounding the rollout of the combined system. TTA developed and delivered a blended-learning solution to train 4,800 Wachovia employees, located in over 700 branches, on the new Wells Fargo platform.
